OK RV Park is better than its name might imply, it really is an excellent confluence of good RV park qualities that makes for a pretty great stay. After the crowded $50/night experience down the road, it’s a great pleasure to be parked here.

OK RV park is named for the OK Corral of western legend and its drives are named after the historic figures associated with the old wild west. It is located about 3 miles from downtown Moab and is withing about 30 minutes of Canyonlands, and 10 minutes from Arches. Its neighbors include small farms and a rodeo site. We’ve not noticed any strong odors from these and yet there are animals to observe if you are so inclined. The park even has arrangements that you can bring and stable horses here to enjoy the many local horse trails.
The park grounds are rich with trees and the occasional small garden making for a quiet and peaceful grounds with ample shade, much appreciated as the sun can be pretty brutal in the summer months. The pads and roads are gravel but the owners water it down daily to keep the dust well under control. They have the usual mix of full-service RV spots, tent camping locations, and cabins. There is an on-site laundry, bathrooms, and showers. The facilities are a bit limited considering the size of the park; only two bathrooms with two stalls and showers each, but they seem up to the task and I’ve not found them crowded.
The park staff has been especially friendly and helpful. They worked hard to find us a week’s space during a very busy time of year and made sure we got the best discount on their normal rate possible given our various RV memberships. This earned us nearly 1/3 off their normal prices and under our $30/night goal for the first time in a while. It’s high season in national park central so it’s much appreciated.
The wireless internet here is pretty good. It has it’s bad moments in the evening and can be a little inconsistent but it delivers good performance when working and it works most of the time. That is a far sight better than most of the places we have stayed at.
All in all, we highly recommend OK RV park. It’s a great location, the grounds are very nice, the staff is friendly, and the price is very reasonable.
